Who we are

Why are we called Ne-Lo? We’re named after our founders first born (Ne)ve and (Lo)ttie as an ongoing reminder of the importance of family values and sustainability in all areas of our business.

Ne-Lo’s origin story is one of a chance meeting, in a gym of all places, of two people with wildly different backgrounds and perspectives, yet with a shared fascination with the challenges of modern business.

It was 2018, and Kieran Antill, one of the world's most awarded creatives, and former Exec. Creative Director of Leo Burnett New York, was heading up the creative team at JWT and was at a point of exasperated disillusionment with the way agency business models stifled innovation and marginalised creativity. At the same time, Ross Hastings, an expert in the role of psychology in organisational leadership and culture, was consulting and coaching with executive teams and was frustrated by the lack of creativity in strategy and culture change.

It just so happened that Kieran and Ross were both expecting their first born daughters, which was a handy catalyst to get their shit together, do something about these frustrations, and build something they were proud to tell their daughters about. So, in 2018, Ne-Lo was born, and shortly after, so were (Ne)ve and Lo(ttie).

Our story continues to inform our focus. We invite our clients to join us in asking “what if…”, whether we’re creating their latest campaign, designing strategy, or changing culture. And we always have our primary stakeholders, Neve and Lottie, front of mind.

Kieran and Ross have since had more children, but have resisted the temptation to create more businesses for them……so far.

We’re passionate about effective teaming.

So, we tailor our teams around each client's needs rather than fitting clients into predefined structures. Our diverse team combines the personalised attention of a small group with the diverse experience and scalability of a larger one.
