Carbon trading is complex and often mistrusted, with abstract products and opaque systems limiting public engagement. MyCarbon needed a brand that simplified the story, built trust, and positioned Australia’s only open carbon marketplace for launch on the stock exchange in 2025.
Through deep collaboration with the MyCarbon team, Ne-Lo shaped value propositions, brand design, and a visual language to transform carbon from abstract to tangible. Black bubbles symbolised carbon, while clear bubbles represented verified credits—an organic evolution of the “black balloon” imagery once used by WWF, inspired instead by molecular structures. Clear credits absorb black carbon, creating vivid storytelling and engaging motion assets. A trusted blue palette and rounded serif typography balanced innovation with credibility.
A bold name, clean UX, currency symbols, and 3D/2D assets built a system that signalled both innovation and trust.
MyCarbon launched with clarity and confidence, creating the foundation for behaviour change among brokers, investors, and businesses in a fast-evolving sector.
